Kubota L5740 & M7060. My manual shows service intervals and some things that must be completed after the first 50 hours. For example, changing the hydraulic fluid filter must be done after the first 50 hours. It then says it should be done every 200 hours. However, it also says it should be done when your hourmeter reads "200" and then "400", etc.

Many people use 15W-40 all the time which may explain why you got what you got. I suspect you'll run into no problems mixing them if the only difference in their specifications is the weight. I usually put in a bit less than what is required and top off per dipstick afterwards. Make sure you run the tractor for a few minutes and let some of that excess oil absorb into the filter. I know you don't get it all on an oil change, but just about a third of the fluid, a gallon and a half, still in there?

They will change the oil every 10,000 miles for three years. But it’s hard to imagine going 10,000 miles on oil even though it’s synthetic.
