FYI I was able to get my local dealer's parts counter to match honda parts online's price + shipping which was roughly an $80-100 savings. 6 hours is a bit of a reach IMO, unless they are also going to remove the rear valve cover and check valve lash on the rear cylinders as well. For your sake, I hope it is the gasket shown as #12 and not the internal spool valve gasket. The internal gasket failed on my 2007 and there is no available replacement short of replacing the entire spool valve.

If you want to replace the entire spool valve assembly…, the intake, valve cover and rocker arm assembly must be removed. Most people just remove the top portion of the assembly.
