I had a 2017 Model S, then a 2019 Model 3 RWD and for me I wanted a more exciting drive than the prior two Teslas so ordered the MYP when it qualified for the tax credit on 2/3.The existing inventory algorithm does not seem to give much weight to add ons, So I usually find MYPs WITH add-ons to be cheaper than without. So far I was able to find one at $47,040 back in December (before I qualified) see the screenshots attached. Since then the closest I found is $49,220.

The result is a lot closer to real-world performance, and it resulted in the 'EPA mileage number' dropping about 10%. With no other changes, the MYP went from 303 miles to 285 miles. I'm suspecting that the new number HAD to be used, and of course Tesla likes to put the EPA estimate as the 100% charge equivalent when the battery is new.

I just took delivery of my 2022 MYP this past Saturday, June 18, 2022, and it came with the Pirelli P-Zero summer tires.. I was hoping it would have come with the Michelin all-season tires. I contacted the local Tesla people and they told me that the type of tire that is on the car when it is shipped depends on the time of year.When I checked the Tesla trade in offer in July it was around $15K with Carmax and Carvana in the $22K range. When I checked last week, Tesla's offer was now close to $22K too with Carmax and Carvana at $23K. The Civic's all in cost for me was $24.5K in 2018.
